What? No updates yesterday? What in the hell was i thinking? (Obviously i wasn’t too much)… actually yesterday was busy busy busy… mainly just work and the drive home, but last night i was terribly tired so i decided to take a bit of a break from the net….
well, the weekend is fast approaching which means that i can sleep in a bit, and accomplish all of the great things in life that I’ve been putting off – whoo hoo!
want to finish a book
want to become published
want to improve this site
want to cook Italian tomorrow
want to finish the painting
want to have more than 24 hours in a day
lol @ spell check… it wants to turn the run on above into harvesting and timesaving
just another note… my water bottle says that it expired mar 2003 @ 8:25
Women… i will never understand them…. maybe i should stick to expensive bread.
Ah… time for a new post… didn’t sleep really well last night, i don’t know if it’s an evil bout of insomnia creeping up on me, or if it’s still the whole day light savings switch-a-roo that’s kicking my arse still… who knows, maybe i’ll do some catching up this weekend.
***props out to addiction for helping me with lj yesterday, you’re the greatest and don’t forget it!
I decided to go ahead and upgrade to a pay account, i figure that I’d have a few features (which i may or may not end up using), but at least i could help contribute to the longevity of this project. The net seems to be constipated with a bunch of crap lately, and although there’s probably a few people out there that think that online j’s are a bucket o’ crap, I’m willing do my little bit of supporting them if i can; you should too dam nit!!!
Anyhow, last night i was craving a turkey sandwich for some strange reason, but i knew that i was out of bread. So i said to myself, “Self, why don’t you go and get some bread?” I also noticed that my car was ’bout out of gas so i decided to get some gas too. Needless to say gas is 1.42 a gallon here – could be worse, could be better – but get this… bread is 3.23 a loaf! Like airport food, gas stations price theirs’ on the same scale. I suppose that’s just the law of supply and demand… or maybe it’s a convince fee… highway rubbery if you ask me… well, that’s ’bout all for now, time for me to bounce.
Well, aside from being a zombie for the most of the day, today really isn’t that bad. it’s warming up out which hopefully is a good indication that winter is over!
A beautiful day in the …. wait! Have they ever had a bad day in the neighborhood?
Well, now that the whole daylight savings time thing has decided to happen, my whole body is way out of whack. My brain needs to start producing that chemical that makes you stay awake at the right time, or i need to go to Wal-Mart and try to find some speed. Either way:
Changing the clocks = blugh
Work is going well this morning, hadn’t had too many calls from people that were trying to use the CD ROM tray as a coffee cup holder. I did get an e-mail from someone in India who was requesting a demo of our product who asked the question of:
i want to be come a solaris administrator,
i want to engage in sun
i want to become a sun certified professional.
will you help me please God say….
i think that it has sort of a Zen like aura about it. Needless to say, our product has absolutely nothing to do with sun, solaris, or becoming a sun certified professional. As for God, i believe that he’s out playing ball today… hopefully he’s on our team.
I noticed this morning that the bottled water that everyone at the office drinks daily has an expiration date on it: March 2003 – i’ve never really heard of water expiring before, but i’m sure that it could happen. Not only does this bottle have a date, but it also has a time stamp as well. This bottle just so happens to kick the bucket at 8:20. I’m not sure what would happen if you drank it at 8:23 it’s an experiment that might bear investigation… we’ll just have to find a guinea pig. Well, that’s all for now, back to the e-mail mill.
